DATA PRIVACY POLICY

The Data Privacy Policy of Tempoel, Lda. applies to all personal data provided by individuals, which will be incorporated into our database for the purpose of carrying out commercial and legal activities arising from the purchase or sale of our services and products, as well as other activities inherent to or related to the company’s economic purpose.

The provided data may also be used, among other things, for the development of satisfaction surveys and communication regarding offers or products that may be of interest. For these purposes, individuals may be contacted via email, SMS, or the most suitable communication channels for data collection.

This policy has been developed in accordance with the guidelines established in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, which was transposed into Portuguese law through the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) effective from May 25, 2018.

The data of individuals will be obtained by: registering on our website and using it, contracting services, purchasing or selling the products offered or filling in the forms required for registering clients, suppliers, consignees who have a relationship with our company.

Data may also be obtained from publicly available sources, such as public records, government resolutions, telephone directories, official lists for fraud prevention and financial risk assessment, social networks, the internet, and third-party companies that have been given prior consent for data sharing.

3. TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED

The data we process falls into the following categories:

• Identification data: names, contact phone numbers, email addresses, bank details for payment and billing processes, addresses, and location data of personal residences, as well as identification numbers.

For individuals, we do not store or process social circumstance data, academic or professional records.

4. CONSENT FOR DATA PROCESSING

Individuals must provide explicit consent for the processing of their data by accepting our Data Privacy Policy. This acceptance is necessary for the provision of requested services and for the processing of product purchases and sales. Failure to provide this data may prevent us from delivering our services, thereby releasing us from any liability for non-provision or incomplete provision of these services.

The individual accepting this document guarantees that the Personal Data provided is accurate and commits to informing us of any changes or modifications. If they provide third-party Personal Data, they will be responsible for informing those parties and obtaining their consent for data processing according to the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

The provided data will not be shared with third parties and will be used exclusively by Tempoel, Lda. and its subsidiaries for the purposes previously described.

However, data may be shared with third parties when required by law or to comply with legal obligations (such as a search warrant or other judicial order), always in accordance with the prevailing legal regulations and with authorized bodies permitted to access such information.

Personal data will be retained until it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. After that, it will remain available exclusively to courts, governmental bodies, or relevant Public Administrations, particularly data protection authorities, for the fulfillment of any potential legal responsibilities arising from its processing, within the statutory limitation period.

7. RIGHT TO ACCESS, REVIEW, MODIFY, AND DELETE DATA

Complying with the provisions of the data protection regulations. Individuals who provide their data to Tempoel, Lda. may exercise their rights to: opposition, access, rectification, suppression, limitation, portability and revocation of the consent given.

Any of these actions can be requested via email at: dataprotection@tempelgroup.com, specifying in the message the requested action. Requests can also be submitted in writing to Tempoel, Lda., with NIF number: 504 646 656, located at Estrada de Paço d’Arcos nº88/88A, Cacém Park Armazém 29, 2735-307 Cacém.

Requests must be accompanied by a copy of an identification document (citizen card, ID card, or other official identification). Information that we are legally or contractually required to retain cannot be deleted but will be blocked and used only for the necessary legal purposes within the prescribed time limits.

Requests will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe, and the requester will be notified once their petition is processed.

8. EFFECTIVE DATE, APPLICATION, AND VALIDITY OF THIS DOCUMENT

This document is effective from its publication date and remains valid until a new version is issued. Sections of our Data Protection Policy may be modified at any time without prior notice, so we recommend reviewing it periodically.
